This agreement will make Singapore Airlines the first Asia-based carrier to enter an agreement with SAP Concur, which provides travel and expense management services to businesses through its software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering.
The customers of the airliner who make use of the Concur TripLink web service will be able to benefit from this partnership through enhanced corporate travel program rewards when they make reservations with Singapore Airlines outside of the Concur Travel solution. Concur TripLink captures data from flights, hotels and ground transportation, providing access to this data together with insights into key metrics such as travel expenditures, and so on, giving organisations a more complete picture of spend with specific suppliers.
Through capturing this data across multiple channels, it enables businesses to apply their own travel policies to direct bookings, and makes it easier for businesses to quickly locate and communicate with employees in the event of an emergency.
Furthermore, Singapore Airlines and their business customers will also benefit through a more personalised experience provided to them with enhancements to the overall corporate booking through personalised products and services for businesses and their employees.
