Sohor International receives award for best tourism promotion campaign

Sohar International is a dynamic and progressive bank that is well strategized with the target of the Sultanate related to the financial diversification, has been heading inventive campaigns all to promote country’s tourism. In honour of its determined initiations, the bank at the Second Arab Forum for Tourism and Heritage, grabbed the title of the ‘Best Campaign to Promote Tourism’ for its project in 2021 and 2022 with the title ‘In Oman We Win’ and ‘Take It From Us’.


The Second Arab Forum for Tourism and Heritage was arranged by the Arab Centre for Tourism Media. For its ‘In Oman We Win’ campaign last year, the bank received the award and the more recent ‘Take It From Us’ program for this year.


Hosted by the Arab Centre for Tourism Media, on 24th and 25th July 2022, the Second Arab Forum for Tourism and Heritage was arranged at the Rotana Hotel. Governor of Dhofar, His Highness Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said inaugurated the event, and saw in attendance many prominent public and private sector representatives. Representing the bank, the Chief Retail Banking Officer, Mr. Khalil Salim Al Hedaifi, at Sohar International, was present at the event and received the award as well. The forum is intended to improve the business between the government, media institutions and private sector establishments in the culture, heritage, and tourism in an attempt to perk up promotional and marketing efforts in the field.
