South Africa Council observes 10 th Anniversary of BRICS Business Council

Before the BRICS Summit, which started on August 22 nd and continued till 24 th August, South African Tourism welcomed delegates at a reception event on Sunday afternoon of the 10th Anniversary of the BRICS Business Council. The BRICS Business Council was set up during the Fifth BRICS Summit. It was organized in Durban on 26 th and 27th March, 2013, South Africa. 

The object of developing the council was to form a platform that encourages as well as fortifies trade, and investment relation amongst the communities of business of the five BRICS countries.

Also, it was created to make sure that there is normal dialogue between the BRICS nation’s business communities and the governments of the BRICS countries.  

This year, as a result, South African Tourism, together with the BRICS Business Council, is observing a decade of collaboration and affiliation.

In all these years, they have seen constant eagerness in terms of travel among the people living in BRICS countries. They can all have the same opinion that the sector acts as a connection that interlinks cultures and unlocks opportunities in terms of dialogue that rise above barriers related to language and political boundaries.

Also, tourism is a major contributor to financial growth.  Tourism is a strength that connects people in their hunt for adventure, innovation and shared experiences.
