An aircraft of Southwest Airlines that had taken off from Orlando was compelled to make an emergency landing on Tuesday after fumes from a coffee maker had been reported in the back of the airplane.
Flight 1539 that was travelling from Orlando to Houston had to be diverted to Pensacola International Airport according to Brian Parrish, a spokesman for the airline.
The smell of fumes was reported in the rear side of the cabin was made certain to have come from a coffee maker inside the cabin, he went on to add.
Vernon Stewart who is a spokesman for City of Pensacola said that passengers and flight crew members were removed from the aircraft while the cabin was checked.
Thereafter the flight continued to Houston after the airplane was deemed safe.
