Spain sees largest number of UK visitors in 2018

In February, Spain saw a surge in British visitors. 20% of all international tourist spending in Spain was by visitors from the UK. Number of visitors from abroad increased by 9.7% last year compared to 2017.

Total amount spent by foreign visitors in Spain went up by 11.4% during the entire last year. After the UK, France was the second largest market.

The Canaries, capital Madrid, Valencia and Murcia regions saw the maximum numbers of visitors.
