Spring Festival inaugurated at Badamwari park

Secretary Tourism, Dr. Syed AbidRasheed Shah inaugurated the Spring Festival, which heralds the beginning of spring at the famousBadamwari park.

During the occasion, the Secretary expressed his happinessregarding thebeginning of the festival. He said that the Spring Festival is a chance for people to assemble and rejoice the onset of this lovely season. Dr. Syed added that spring is a time to relish the outdoors, understand local customs and unite with the communities.

The Secretary further emphasized that these kinds of festivals are aimed towardencouraging tourism and displaying the assortment and loveliness of many unknown destinations. Dr. Syed added that the tourism department will organize these kinds of events across the length and breadth of the UT to fully explore the prospective of unexploited tourist destinations in the region.

Director Tourism Kashmir, FazLulHaseeb said that the tourism division has alignedseveral activities at diverse tourist destinations across Kashmir to provide people and visitors with maximum opportunities for leisure. He said that the department is providing all imaginablesupport to the tourists and visitors looking to visit Kashmir and enjoy its fascinatingbackdrop and beauty.

The Festival displays an array of activities like food fairs, arts and crafts fairs among other undertakings. Visitors can gather knowledge about local traditions, savor the exclusive cuisine, and take pleasure in the natural attractiveness of the historicBadamwaripark.
