STB & Disney Cruise Line to launch cruise vacations

Today, for the first time, the Singapore Tourism Board together with Disney Cruise Line has declared about a magical cruise vacations to Southeast Asia. This was disclosed by Josh D’Amaro, Chairman-Disney Parks, Experiences and Products along with S. Iswaran, the Minister for Transport and Trade Relations, Singapore.

Disney Cruise Line and Singapore Tourism Board, under a newly signed Memorandum of Understanding have decided to work together to homeport Disney cruise ship in Singapore for a minimum five years starting in 2025. Comprehensive information about the maiden expedition, routes and other onboard experiences will be unveiled later on.

D’Amaro said that for The Walt Disney Company, this is an exhilarating year as it marks their 100th anniversary. Disney Cruise Line, as part of this, is experiencing an ambitious expansion at present with new ships and places worldwide. For their seventh-launched ship, they all are super excited to make this Asian country the home port for this cruise vacation as it will start from 2025.

They look ahead to greet the delightful Disney Cruise Line to Singapore, said the Chief Executive, STB, Keith Tan. For STB, this is a significant landmark and shows strong confidence of Disney Cruise Line in Singapore and Southeast Asia. The new Disney cruise ship will be a major draw and is hoped to improve Singapore tourism for many years to come.
