A huge fire is seen from five miles away rages across a National Trust nature reserve last night. Locals to stay away as they fight to tame the giant flames in Studland Heath warned by Dorset and Wiltshire police. It is spread to 600 square meters, and clearly seen from Poole, Dorset.
The blazing inferno has turned the sky bright red. It can be seen that a lot of smoke coming from Studland Heath. Crews from Swanage, Westbourne, Poole, Christchurch, Hamworthy, and Wimbourne along with Land Rover pumps from Swanage, Poole, Hamworthy, and Bere Regis, the Unimog from Wareham, and a water carrier from Poole currently in attendance.
Approximately, 600 square meters of heathland is well alright and our crews are working hard to put in a fire break to protect neighboring properties.
