Study says tourism of Italy is set for a record year

For tourism, Italy is all prepared to have a major hit year, organizing a record high of more than 442 million stays in terms of overnight tourist accommodation. As per a study put forward on Thursday by the Demoskopika market-research institute, this is a rise of 12.2% with respect to 2022.

The prediction of the institute said that Italy will have 127 million tourist accommodation arrivals. This would an up by 11.2% on 2022, however, still under the levels of the pre-COVID times like 2018 and 2019, ANSA reports.


It said that the tourism industry of Italy in 2023, should churn out business worth around 89 billion euros.
