Sural village in Sattari taluka is known as the Matheran of Goa. The village will soon get further power source for the improvement of eco-tourism. Supplementary concealed power lines would be established between Thane and Sural. It will cost Rs. 3.70 crore approximately for this project.
Situated on the Goa-Karnataka boundary, Sural village boasts of splendid natural attractiveness. It is a well- known tourist spot, particularly during the summer and rainy seasons. Locals in the area have requested for progress in the area for the last few years.
Deviya Rane, MLA of this area, is thinking to improve the area via eco-tourism with special consideration in this regard. An outline in this regard is ready, and efforts regarding this have started creating the
essential structure for this. As a part of this procedure, power lines in the underground would be created.
As per latest available data, there would be a concealed power line in Thane Golavali-Sural. Hence, difficulties surfacing during the monsoons would be resolved. The suggestion in this respect was organized with special consideration to the point that the wires of the electricity networks in between are continually interrupted. It has been permitted, and info has been obtained from the representatives of the electricity division that work will begin at the earliest.
