Swan Hellenic has confirmed that it will begin sailing its inaugural cruises exploring Antarctica as planned earlier. The news followed confirmation from the Argentinian government that the country will reopen from October 20.
As a result, the cruise line will be able to operate from Ushuaia, the home port chosen for the maiden season Antarctic cruises of its purpose-designed new ice-class flagship SH Minerva. Andrea Zito, Chief Executive, Swan Hellenic said in a statement that the company is delighted the line can embark on its inaugural season as planned and happy to spread the joy by extending the ‘Cruise Like a Swan’ celebration.
She mentioned that the cruise line cannot wait to welcome guests back aboard to see what others does not, finally experiencing the elegant Scandi-design interiors with open views, the gourmet cuisine, expert lectures and insightful expeditions to some of the most awe-inspiring places on earth that the brand have worked so hard to create.
