German police have said that the pilot of a passenger jet that was travelling for Zurich was compelled to make an unscheduled stopover at Stuttgart airport since a Swiss passenger suddenly became aggressive after being denied champagne.
Reutlingen police authorities said that the crew members were simply incapable to calm down the 44-year-old business class passenger who was terribly angry when the authorities refused to serve her more sparkling wine on board the flight from Moscow on Saturday.
Thereafter the police stated in a statement on Sunday that the woman who was not named was escorted off the Airbus A320.
And then she was ordered to pay a security of 5,000 euros.
They said that the 43 passengers on board were never in any danger but then the total cost that was associated with the unplanned stopover might be amounting to tens of thousands of euros.
