Once more, tourism sector is getting prosperous for Taiwan’s Penghu County as the pandemic has started getting eradicated, with crowds of tourists returning to various attractions all over this archipelago.
Between the main island of Taiwan and the outlying county, CNA reported that both air and sea transportation which is located in the middle of the Taiwan Strait, have been witnessing increased pressure and this weekend, more than 3,000 tourists came to the archipelago.
To fly the route, larger planes have been deployed, with a minimum 30 flights on a daily basis between Taiwan and Penghu are maintained currently. On the sea, at least two ferries currently ply the passage. Many people have been seen at Kuibi Mountain’s “Moses parting the sea” path in Huxi Township. The 300-meter path provides the illusion of the sea parting when a thin strip of land between the main island of Pengu and an uninhabited islet gets uncovered by receding tides.
Also, tourists have been visiting barbecue restaurants to relish tantalizing seafood in the waters off the tourist mecca.
The Penghu County Tourism Department explained that for the coming Mid-Autumn Festival, 4,472 airline tickets to Penghu will be available after additional flights have been arranged to complement the original 402 flights accommodating 26,000 passengers during the holiday.
