The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has shaped a plannedassociation with four keyonline platforms of the world, which are Klook, Agoda, KKDayand Alipay, for initiatinga mutual marketing inventiveness to improve tourism to Thailand.
At the press conference the Governor of TATMr. YuthasakSupasorn; the Deputy Governor of TAT for international marketing for Asia and the South-PacificMr. TanesPetsuwan; the CEO ofAgodaMr. OmriMorgenshtern among other dignitaries were in attendance.
TAT joins 4 important online platforms to lift tourism to Thailand.
The COVID-19 pandemic proved to be amotivatingreason for the development of the digital platform, causingswift growth in online buying and payment for a ‘cashless society.’ As per a recent study, 45% of consumers in Asia are considering increasing online expenditure in the next 12 months, said Mr. Yuthasak.
As part of the cooperative marketing enterprise, Agoda, Alipay, KKDayand Klookwill unveiladvertisings and promotionswith a view to growtourism in Thailand, and to improveresponsivenessregarding experience-based tourism undertakingsbeing offered in primary and secondary destinationsin Thailand.
