The Tourism Authority of Thailand has recently launched a new ‘Experience Thailand and More’ pocketbook that focuses on four travel experiences that cross borders.
It is a unique pocketbook featuring neighbouring countries of Thailand.
It has been distributed to all buyers and media at the ASEAN Tourism Forum that focuses on travel content under four themes.
Themes cover the ancient kingdoms of ASEAN, the indigenous Peranakan culture of the region in the coastal cities of Andaman, adventure trails near Mekong River and food tourism combined with different heritage cities.
A Journey to ASEAN Ancient Kingdom actually promotes Thailand as an essential connect to the historic trails in the North of ASEAN.
The ASEAN Peranakan and Nature Trail linking the Andaman coastal cities commences with the distinctive Peranakan culture of Phuket and scenes leading its way south to Malaysia.
This trail portrays Buri Ram as the sports city and is perfect for tourists who have a passion for sports.
Tanes Petsuwan who is the deputy governor of TAT said that the Tourism Authority of Thailans has also organized post-tours that comprise these ASEAN Connectivity itineraries and they go a long way in strengthening TAT’s efforts to promote ASEAN as a single destination.
