The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism campaign heads to Southeastern USA

The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investments & Aviation will carry on its winning series of Global Sales and Marketing Missions with nonstop events on Wednesday on 19th Oct in North Carolina in Charlotte.

It’s concluding on Thursday, 20 Oct. in Raleigh. These events focused to thicken relationships with the partners of tourism and improve the arrivals of the visitors in the area, come one month before the year-round direct flights from Charlotte and Raleigh to Grand Bahama Island is kick-starting from November.


I. Chester Cooper, the Honourable Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments & Aviation will head the Bahamian team comprising The Minister for Grand Bahama, Honourable Ginger Moxey, Latia Duncombe, Acting Director General, Bahamas senior officials of tourism, Bahamian hotel partners, sales and trade representatives and destination representatives, where they’ll take part in a series of events featuring meetings with prominent stakeholders and media from all over the tourism sector, along with culturally enthused evenings at the Marriott Charlotte SouthPark in Charlotte and the Raleigh Marriott City Center in Raleigh.


Guests will get an ideas as well as the flavor of the culture of Bahama through island-inspired hors d’oeuvre and spicy food, as well as Bahamian-themed music along with cocktails, and entertainment with an electrifying Junkanoo performance till the end of the night. ADG Duncombe said that the simplicity to travel to The Bahamas from North Carolina makes it an impressive getaway for the travelers from the Southeast.
