The Chedi Katara Hotel & Resort in Doha appoints Hani Akkari as a new general manager

Hani Akkari is the new general manager of The Chedi Katara Hotel & Resort in Doha, as named by the Hotel operator General Hotel Management (GHIM).

Akkari brings over 17 years of experience in luxury hotels to this new role with GHM. He joins from Fairmont Doha where he held the role of general manager.

Other brands Akkari has worked with across Europe and the Middle East include Seasons, Hilton, Sofitel, and Mgallery.

In his role at The Chedi Katara, Akkari will be responsible for overseeing the hotel’s operations and commercial performance, as well as leading new projects within F & B.

Akkari shared that he is thrilled to embark on his journey at The Chedi Katara and feels privileged to lead a team of dedicated professionals in such an iconic hotel that is the epitome of luxury and sophistication.
