Recognised hotel development and management company, Hotel Equities (HE) recently announced that the Courtyard by Marriott Winston-Salem Downtown has officially opened its doors to guests in downtown Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Located at 640 West Fourth Street, the custom-designed property features 126 rooms and a rooftop bar with a view of the West End and historic Winston-Salem skyline.
The six-story building consists of rich colours in its design influenced by the neighbouring brewery’s vibrant artwork. The colour palette of the property is enhanced by patterns with a retro vibe that is matched alongside strategically placed decorative accent lighting. Every furniture in the hotel features sleek black lacquer, all of which combines to provide a feel of the vintage era meeting the modern age.
The hotel also features the brand’s latest open and modern lobby design alongside the unmatched view from the rooftop which serves as the main attraction of the property. Guests and visitors can enjoy a full-service bar along with the adjacent rooftop patio space while marvelling at the landscape view. It also contains the newly designed Bistro of the brand, an ideal casual dining destination offering cocktails, beer and wine for guests to enjoy at the end of the day.
In addition, the hotel has its own indoor swimming pool, a courtyard area with a fire pit, fitness center, guest laundry and 1,425 square feet of meeting space to accommodate meetings and events. Therefore the Courtyard by Marriott Winston-Salem Downtown stands as an ideal venue for both business and leisure travellers. The hotel also provides convenient access to tourist attractions like Old Salem, the Yadkin Valley wineries, Kaleideum, Aperture Cinema and Hanesbrands Theatre.
