As Holy Week and Easter is about to happen, Israel tourism has been almost shut down.

On Monday, a series of countrywide complaints have grown overnight and reached the David Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem International Airport grounding flights for the time being, as per ABC News.

Over Prime Minister, Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu’s decision, scheduled to disclose his plan to revamp the judiciary, a decision he considered would reinstate balance into the government.

Opposition members saw the decision as a major danger to democracy, and protesters in tens and thousands took to the Jerusalem and Tel Aviv streets. Sources informed Reuters that Netanyahu would hang up the revamp decision due to the protests.

President Isaac Herzog said that for the sake of the unity of Israelis, for the sake of responsibility, he calls everyone to stop the legislative process immediately. Yoav Gallant, the Defense Minister, before had spoken out against the recent legislative plan, however was released from his position for his attitude, a decision that created anxiety that the government would make tighter political control over judicial appointments and permit parliament to cancel the Supreme Court.

Contradictory expressions by supporters of the reforms were hoped to be arranged on Monday night in Jerusalem. Itamar Ben-Gvir, National Security Minister, supports the legislation. He said that the law is balanced and excellent for Israel.
