Four Seasons Hotel Macao presents a new collection of products and facials by Black Pearl at The Spa; where relaxation, health and inner peace is achieved through a range of luxurious treatments.

Black Pearl 24 karat gold is the purest, softest gold for the skin. Proprietary technology enables high concentrations and optimal penetration of this precious ingredient, which slows the ageing process. Rare minerals, antioxidant algae and hydrating Tahitian pearl bring great power to take guest on a deeply sensorial and healing journey.

Twenty-seven unique minerals that heal and moisturise the skin are enhanced with Tahitian black pearl rich in organic-matrix calcium carbonate. Known to draw water into the skin particularly well, calcium carbonate lends the product its name and ensures results that aid an even skin tone and provide iridescence to the skin.

The Time Control Series, exclusive to The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Macao, further adds to the power of the brand by creating a timeless illumination for the skin, enabling it to be flawless and bright, much like a pearl. It embodies a unique fusion between the Black Pearl complex and other high performance active ingredients to deliver unprecedented anti-ageing results. The Time Control collection joins precious minerals with aquatic ingredients to rejuvenate the skin for radiance and vitality. Additional ingredients include collagen, hyaluronic acid, essential vitamins and the exclusive chronogen technology.

Bespoke Menu Concept at The Spa

The exciting menu of treatments at The Spa was co-developed by collaboration between spa and brand and is exclusive to Four Seasons Hotel Macao. Through a bespoke menu concept, personalisation of treatments is achieved by comprehensive pre-treatment consultations with skilled and highly trained skincare specialists. Customisation of treatment rituals takes place to meet the guests’ skincare needs. This includes a choice of eye treatments, masks and hydration for the skin. Finally, home care rituals are curated to enhance and maintain results achieved in Spa.

During the treatment, experiences are enriched by ritualised movements and specialised facial massage techniques for lifting and activating the skin. Products for body exfoliation are prepared through an alchemic approach and body journeys incorporate medically inspired massage movements, traditional techniques and precious stones.

With an objective to provide result-driven solution for skin care, a highlight on the facial ritual menu is the Gold and Pearl Luminescence experience. The 90-minute treatment uses brightening ingredients and techniques that include application of black and white pearl and gold masks. Healing mineral mud ― rich in nanogold infused with powerful vitamin C― is applied to transform the skin’s appearance into a flawless and luminous canvas.

The signature 24K Cleopatra Mask is formulated combining 24K gold with exquisite and healing mud from the Dead Sea. This mud mask, enriched with vitamins, plant oils and extracts deeply nourishes the skin and enhances its natural luminosity. The anti-ageing benefits of gold were renowned even in the time of Cleopatra. With antioxidant and antimicrobial effects, pure gold helps to improve skin circulation and alleviate environmental damage, while creating a natural skin firming effect and a smooth, even tone. The richness of black Dead Sea mud boosts cell regeneration and effectively exfoliates dead skin cells. Together, the natural properties of this enriching facial mask work with magnetism to help infuse the active ingredients directly and deeply into the skin.
