The tourism industry of Manitoba is rising as COVID comes to an end and people are all set to travel even more this time, however, we’re also experiencing greater number of Manitobans are traveling to other places on vacation as the “return to normal” carries on.


The trend fo staycation, which got famous during the pandemic times appears to be settled. This summer, Judy McIver, has been constantly travelling all over Manitoba. Judy said that last week, they were at Blue Lake campground. They have been up to Birds Hill, out to Henasa campground. So, she said that this year, they have indulged in lots of camping.


In a few weeks time, moving to a cabin close to Gimli, Noel & Jordan Dyck are among many other Manitobans who are discovering their own province like never before.


Jordan said that they haven’t had an opportunity to get away with all of their siblings. So, his mom thought that it would be really amazing to hire a cabin and bring at the kids with.


Also, local tourism is geeting additionally fuelled by the return of events like the Manitoba Stampede in Morris and Icelandic festival in Gimli. Brian Wiebe, president of the Valley Agricultural Society, stated that the stampede was very famous. They have been talking with owners of businesses all weekend, they have been swamped. To the best of their information, this has been many years since they’ve had every single hotel room booked in the town.
