Favorite

To celebrate Easter 2022, Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Geneva has launched an array of activities and delectable culinary treats for children and families to embrace a fun-filled springtime holiday. From an egg-citing Easter egg hunt to delectable handmade chocolate creations and quintessential Easter décor in Salon Dufour, guests are guaranteed plenty of family fun.

Salon Dufour

Salon Dufour has been transformed into an enchanting wonderland with foliage, crates and eggs, where families and children can enjoy delectable chocolate treats in a cosy rustic-style setting. Dotted around the dining area are bales of straw adorned with farm animal decorations, including fluffy little chicks, rabbits and hens. Wooden crates, carts and wicker hampers brim with colourful hand-painted eggs, while watering cans, milk pails and rattan boxes lend a rustic feel. Tables are adorned with gorgeous floral displays in narrow necked vases, with pastel-coloured eggs hanging from freshly cut sprouting branches.

Easter High Tea

Pastry Chef Jean-Marie Roger has put together a themed Easter High Tea menu, with delectable treats including melt-in-your-mouth chocolate marshmallow surprise eggs; religieuse, an indulgent French pastry made of two pastry cases filled with chocolate and joined with buttercream; a sweet and fluffy Palm Sunday brioche with caraway seeds; a dark chocolate cannolo with cod fish and pistachio; and a rich, velvety hot chocolate prepared with the finest Swiss chocolate. Guests can pair their sweet Easter delights with a selection of champagne, including Billecart-Salmon rosé and Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 2013.

Easter Specials at Michelin-Starred Restaurant Il Lago

Michelin-starred Il Lago serves authentic Italian dishes prepared by celebrated Chef Massimiliano Sena in an elegant dining room bathed in natural daylight and featuring soft blue colour palettes. Guests can choose from a light Easter spring salad or a refreshing veal tartare with asparagus and Amalfi lemon to start. To follow, the Chef has crafted an exquisite morel risotto; a zesty calamarata pasta dish with seafood; and glazed goat with celeriac, green apple and chicory. To round off the meal is an indulgent all-chocolate dessert, made with chocolate and fleur de sel shortbread, chocolate ganache and chocolate ice cream.

Easter Egg Hunt

At 2:00 pm on Easter Sunday, an Easter Egg Hunt will provide plenty of fun and entertainment for little ones. Children will follow clues to find chocolate treats hidden around the Hotel, placing their finds in little wicker baskets.

Easter Workshop for Children

At the Hotel’s Teen Hub, children can get involved in plenty of fun Easter crafts and try their hand at painting and decorating Easter eggs, which they will be able to take home at the end of the day. They can also burn some energy by moving to lively tracks and dance choreographies with Just Dance.

Family-Friendly Activities in Geneva

Geneva offers plenty of family-friendly activities at this time of year. Children can cruise Lake Geneva with their parents, taking in the lake’s magnificent sights from the water. The surrounding mountains offer excellent family-friendly hikes that are particularly enjoyable in spring, when temperatures are mild and flowers are in bloom. Young guests will also love visiting a local artisan cheesemaker in Canton Fribourg, where they can learn the secrets of cheesemaking and sample Gruyère, Switzerland’s famous sweet and nutty cheese. Little ones can discover authentic Swiss chocolate creations at Maison Cailler, a chocolate factory offering tours, tastings, workshops and an interactive museum.
