Three-day world spiritual festival to be held in Tirupati

The Andhra Pradesh department of tourism is holding a three-day World Spiritual Festival in Tirupati from March 23 to 25. The Shilparamam and S.V. University stadium would serve as venues for the mega event.

 
The District Tourism Officer D.V. Chandramouli Reddy said that the event will have six regular sessions in the mornings and evenings, besides the special edition programmes at Mahati and Srinivasa auditoriums.

 
The prime events at the festival would include yoga, meditation, spiritual discourses and classical programmes of dance and music. Rendering of Annamacharya Sankeerthanas by popular singers would comprise an important component of the festival. Musician Sivamani will also make a presentation during the festival.

 
State Tourism Minister Bhuma Akhila Priya and spiritual leader Ravi Shankar will attend the event at S.V. University Stadium on March 24. Well-known writers would also be invited to the three-day event.
