Through trains railways will now showcase Gujarat

As per an official statement on Sunday, the railways is all prepared to launch a Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train which would showcase Gujarat under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat program.

On February 28th, the train on “Garvi Gujarat” tour will start from Safdarjung station in Delhi.

The statement from the Ministry of Railways confirms that this special train tour has been done on the lines of the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ scheme with a mission to display the heritage of vivacious Gujarat.

With 1st AC and 2nd AC classes, this modern Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train will be operational for the eight-day all-inclusive tour.

The train will comprise four first AC coaches, along with two second AC Coaches, one pantry car which is fully equipped and two rail restaurants.

The train has room for 156 tourists. Visiting Gujarat’s prominent pilgrimage spots and heritage sites like the Statue of Unity, Somnath, Champaner, Dwarka, Beyt Dwarka, Nageshwar, Ahmedabad, Modhera and Patan were included in the tour. Tourists can board as well as get down from the train in Rewari, Gurugram, Ringas, Phullera and Ajmer railway stations as well. Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation have teamed up with payment gateways for EMI payment option to the customers, the railways said.
