The first independent travel trade media in Malaysia, TIN Media, is promoting tourism & hospitality in Asia, together with Asia Hospitality Human Resource Association. They organized the Inaugural Asian Tourism & Hospitality Awards 2023. At Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur, the ceremony was hosted on March 17th, 2023, was a booming victory and it identified outstanding achievements in the business all over Asia.
The event witnessed the presence of all the well-know names associated with the sector, like Mdm Saraswathy Kandasami, YB Senator, the Deputy Minister of Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development, Mr. Dato Muhammad Bakhtiar Wan Chik, Yb Yeoh Soon Hin, a Parliamentarian and erstwhile Deputy Tourism Minister, and YB Datuk Joniston Bangkuai, Chairman of the Sabah Tourism Board, among many others.
With more than 200 nominees coming from 23 nations, the awards program welcomed an astounding 47,515 public votes and claimed total points of 54,850, indicating the importance and worldwide acknowledgment of this impressive award program.
The ceremony featured an illustrious panel of judges, with experts of the industry and professionals from all over Asia. The in-house award management software known as “awardex was used to arrange this award, incorporating features like points collections, public voting, providing more transparency and digital exposure for the awards program.
The winners were identified all over a wide range of categories, like hotels, tourism boards, resorts, etc.
