While there are some very famous celebrations and festivals across the USA in the month of March, these are some of the best across the USA.
Sherwood Forest Fair
Date: 5 March-24 April, 2022
Place: Austin, Texas
A renaissance festival in McDade, it is also known as the Sherwood Forest Faire. This festival spans eight weekends through February and March. Watch a thrilling jousting match and silly comedy shows. Here you can shop in the unique shops full of handmade items and medieval costumes. Located an hour east of Austin, Sherwood Forest Faire is located on a beautifully wooded 23-acre property. The 100 permanent medieval building re-creations, adds a level of realism that many Renaissance festivals can’t match. Primitive camping is available in the quiet area – where noise is prohibited after 10 p.m. – or the rowdy area where the attendees can have a more raucous time.
The Boston Flower Show

Place: Boston
The Seaport World Trade Center had been home to the Boston Flower & Garden Show for 11 years. here will you see a stunning array of plants, flowers and all kinds of gardening magic that can turn any atrocity into a thing of beauty. Head to the Seaport World Trade Center and explore the harmony we create within our gardens, vases and living spaces. However the Seaport World Trade Center, the show’s former venue, is undergoing renovations to turn it into retail and office space only – no exhibition hall.
Book of Mountains & Seas
Date: 15-20 March, 2022
Place: Mexico
Huang Ruo’s “Book of Mountains & Seas” is featuring a production directed and designed by the iconic puppeteer Basil Twist. Inspired by the Chinese compilation of early myths of the same name, it will be performed by 12 singers and two percussionists from The Choir of Trinity Wall Street and a team of the city’s most gifted puppeteers. In four musical and visual tableaux, “Ruo and Twist adapt the myths through the lens of our modern-day relationship with the natural world, with the creation stories conjuring respect and awe for the environment, and the water stories.
Saint Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival
Date: 12-17 March, 2022
Place: San Francisco
The largest of the San Francisco festivals is the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, when the Irish American community comes to life in the city. You’ll see floats, bands, and even pets all decked out in green. And of course it wouldn’t be a true St. Paddy’s Day without the alcohol flowing. The festival after will have beer, food, live music, and fun. The noise can be deafening with the marching bands of various traditions like Irish, rock, jazz and military. The cultural shenanigans are the best part of the show along with the uproarious nature of the people. One can also enjoy a meal of corned beef and cabbages during this T time.
