Downtown’s newest luxury steakhouse located in the completely transformed Four Seasons Hotel Houston is starting 2022 off with the addition of a daily breakfast and lunch service. Toro Toro Houston has expanded its offerings with these two additional menus beginning Tuesday, January 4, 2022.

The father of modern Mexican cuisine, Chef Richard Sandoval, and the team at Four Seasons bring sizzling breakfast and lunch options that stand out with bold Latin flavours and techniques. Built around fresh, local ingredients, the menus include dishes unique to Toro Toro Houston and favourites from other locations of the global concept. The introduction of these new offerings gleams renewed excitement following the restaurant’s debut in October, which brought elevated Latin fare to the downtown dining scene. Award-winning New York City design firm Meyer Davis has created an inviting ambiance boasting an eclectic mix of textured neutrals, distressed wood, and leather accents. Floor-to-ceiling windows drench the open space in natural light, creating a completely different look and feel from day to night.

Diners will be enticed to start their mornings with breakfast dishes such as the Breakfast Tacos, a soon-to-be favourite with chorizo, sweet potato, cotija cheese, pickled jalapenos, crema, and house salsa. Other sweet and savoury dish highlights include the Tres Leches Pancakes with dulce de leche cream, Eggs Benedict with ají Amarillo hollandaise sauce, and the Smoked Salmon Platter served with traditional accoutrements.

As a prime downtown destination, Toro Toro will soon become a favoured power lunch spot to neighbouring office buildings and Downtown Houston residents. Like Toro Toro’s dinner offerings, the curated lunch menu invites guests to start with a selection of shareable snacks and small plates, including the Smoked Swordfish Dip, a dish that can be found at Toro Toro locations across the globe. The selection of signature salads and sandwiches provides diners with lighter options suited for a midday meal. The grill is firing up entrees from land and sea, and cooking them to perfection. The Grilled Tiger Prawns Al Ajíillo are the star of the show served with Mexican street corn. An array of sides is available to complement every dish.

Located on the third floor of Four Seasons Hotel Houston, Toro Toro is the sixth location of this Chef Richard Sandoval’s concept worldwide and second concept at Four Seasons Hotel Houston, in addition to Bayou & Bottle.
