Brent Anderson, Tourism Australia’s regional general manager for Southeast Asia, said that Australia is hoping to witness 400,000 visitors by June next year, similarto the pre-Covid level. With the closure of China, India has turned out to be more significant. By 2030, India is expected to become No. 1 tourist market for Australia, said Anderson.
