Tourism Authority of Thailand launches mobile application for tourists

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) through their mobile application ‘Family Fun Thailand’ is going all out to promote Thailand as a family destination, targeting families from India and rest of Asia.

The app highlights the family-friendly side of this beautiful destination and offers great deals in Thailand. It allows families to access and select from hundreds of special offers, discounts and special privileges at various hotels and resorts.

Ms Soraya Homchuen – Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, commented  “Thailand has a wide variety of tourism resources, attractions, activities, infrastructure, hospitality and services that fit for all age groups, so our country actually is a perfect destination for families. Indians love to take short family holidays we intend to reach out to them and showcase the Family-Friendly Side of Thailand through this application.

The Family Fun mobile application is available to download now from the App Store or Google Play and showcases the privileges and promotions available to families across Thailand. Choose your special offer from four categories including Hotels & Resorts, Restaurants, Health & Beauty, and Activity. Browse some of the great deals in Thailand, and choose the offer you are interested in and press ‘USE’ to redeem it. You will then be issued a promotion code to use when booking.

There are discounts up to 60 percent across attractions like Flying Squirrels, Yoyo Land, Upside Down Pattaya, Vanich Farm, Phuket, Dolphins Bay Phuket, Flying Squirrels in Chiang Mai. One can also get great deals in Hotel and spa bookings.
