Tourism facilities underway along with Sugovushan water reservoir

The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and their daughter Arzu Aliyeva got acquainted with the renovation of the Sugovushan water reservoir and the main
water passage coming out of it, along with the expansion of tourism arrangement facilities created together with the reservoir.

The special representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan within the unregimented regions of the Karabakh Economic Region, Emin Huseynov briefed the top of the state and the First Lady about the works implemented.

Within the agenda of the First State Program, principal renovation of the Sugovushan water tank and the main water canal coming out of it had started as a part of the enterprises on revampand rebuilding of the chief infrastructure services. At the moment, the walls of the reservoir are covered with concrete, with main upkeeps being carried out. Required work is being done on the main canal.

At the same time, the building of main tourism facilities together with the Sugovushan reservoir has been started. A Tourist Information Bureau is also being built, along with a coastal park, and a car parking area.
