Tourism in Paso Robles gets stronger

To observe National Travel and Tourism Week, starting from May 7 th and continuing till May 13 th , along with California Tourism Month, Travel Paso, the mission of the nonprofit marketing organization is to encourage tourism. It is declaring yet another record-breaking year for lodging tax revenue generated by tourists.


California Tourism Month and National Travel and Tourism Week are yearly events that observe the necessary role of travel in invigorating financial enhancement. Paso Robles last year witnesses a 40% rise in Transient Occupancy Tax over the preceding fiscal year, adding up $9.8 million in revenue from travelers.


Travel Paso’s Board chair, Alex Villicana, expressed gratitude to their award-winning wines and their joint initiations to make awareness in terms of the Paso Robles attractions, visitors carry on choosing Paso. Their businesses varied ecosystem that comprises breweries, distilleries, art galleries, restaurants, and retail keeps visitors returning. Once a visitor finds out Paso, they always return which helps their local financial system and generate a quality of life for all locals to take pleasure in.


In celebration of California Tourism Month and NTTW, the Paso Robles City Council paid tribute to Travel Paso with an announcement at the Council meeting arranged on Tuesday in acknowledging the assistance that tourism provides to the local economy.


The revenues of tourist lodging are amassed via TOT, which is billed to guests at every RV resort, hotels and short-term rentals.
