Tourism segment income in Jordan amplified all through the first four months of this year by 84.5 per
cent, registering a worth of approximately $2.2 billion.
As per the monthly communiqué of the Tourism Ministry, approximately 2 million people came to
Jordan during January to April this year. This is nearly double the figure compared to the equivalent time last year, essentially growing the tourism profits.
For the duration of the initial four months of this year, overnight travelers reached around 1.6 million with a development of 78.7 per cent. The amount of day tourists touched 360,000, growing by 137.1 per cent,
as per the figures released by the Central Bank of Jordan.
Considering a monthly basis, tourism segment revenue attained a development degree of 73.5 per cent in April this year equated to the similar month last year, getting to $543.2 million.
