Following a succession of world events that have rearranged and have altered the outlook of organizations, individuals and governments permanently, it’s crucial to get accustomed to our financial goals and bring into line the strengths to bring the most favorable outcomes.

GCC countries have already kick-started their journey to financial recuperation. However, the region has to go long distance in regards to getting on track towards long-term goals.

In diversifying its financial interests, the region has done well so far and now is far less dependent on the oil industry and brought other sectors to the forefront. For growth, one area where tremendous possibility can be seen is tourism, which greatly depends on the people of the region.

Bearing in mind the important hit that world travels encountered with the fallout of the pandemic, GCC countries were hoping for an unexpected rush in 2022 in travel after the implementation of programs related to vaccination and improved safety measures worldwide. A 182 per cent growth in arrivals were seen in the first quarter of this year compared to the same time 2021 from 41 million to an estimated 117 million, as per UN World Tourism Organization.

As the countries go on, the number will only rise as people all over the world are keen to travel for leisure as well as business reasons following an extended halt.

For GCC countries, this is the best time to get the long-term plans better and grow tourism.
