Tourism Malaysia introduces Malaysia birdwatching paradise 2023 package

Recently, Tourism Malaysia has introduced the Malaysia Birdwatching Paradise 2023 package with an aim to encourage this niche segment in tourism among the bird lovers, both in terms of domestic as well as international with a mission to perk up further tourist arrivals to the country.

By almost seven travel operators, a total of 15 tour packages are being provided for travel season starting from October 14th 2023 to 31st March, 2024. In the states of Sarawak, Sabah, Kedah, Pahang, and Terengganu, these packages cover activities related to birdwatching. The package provides an itinerary from a four-hour birdwatching in Langkawi to a 7-day and 6-night schedule in Sarawak.

Natural History Tours Sdn Bhd, Danz Travel & Adventure Sdn Bhd, Ping Anchorage Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd, Tabin Wildlife Holidays Sdn Bhd, Borneo Nature Tours Sdn Bhd, Inter-Borneo Tours Sdn Bhd, and Borneo Birding Tours Sdn Bhd are the seven travel operators included in these packages.

The Malaysia Birdwatching Paradise 2023 package has been introduced with great expectation. During the Asian Bird Fair 2023, it has been made available for the visitors held at the Sabah International Convention Centre on 13th -14th October, in Kota Kinabalu. For birding activities in Malaysia, the main target markets include the United States, the United Kingdom, Denmark, China, and Singapore.
