Kevin Penny, a travel blogger from Halifax who makes use of a motorized wheelchair said that tourism requires becoming more reachable for people with disabilities. He hopes that the imminent policy considerations will lead to those developments.
Penny, who is also a supporter of convenience, has been traveling for nearly 30 years and he frequently
encounters challenges on flights and in hotels.
He said that movement assistances like wheelchairs are often spoiled when they’re hoarded with baggage on airplanes. Hotel rooms are often publicized as completely accessible but that is not what happens all
the time.
Penny said that he has witnessed a little development to rules over the years; however, that has not been
sufficient.
He said that when it comes to the implementation in fact, it just appears to be really perplexing and nothing seems to be actually accelerating, despite the fact that there are people encouraging changes.
