The tourist board of New Zealand has disclosed that a new travel trade website will be built that would help agents selling the destination.
In February, NZ declared plans for reopening its borders phase-by-phase, after remaining close for almost two years due to COVID. The main target is to make the country fully reopen to all foreign visitors from October 2022.
This new trade website of Tourism New Zealand will include refreshed content and an updated design “to make it more intuitive and user-friendly for travel sellers”.
It is set to be a “one-stop-shop for online training and inspirational content”, as well as sales tools and resources.
Content would revolve around all training webinars created over the past two years.
The site hosts the New Zealand Specialist (NZSP) travel agent education programme. There travel sellers can complete the learning modules to earn Bronze, Silver and Gold NZSP travel seller status.
