An arrangement for supporting events in Northern Ireland would not be functioned by Tourism NI this
year owing to financial restraints.
Candidates for the national tourism events sponsorship scheme were stated that it was an unfortunate
decision.
It means that no sponsorship money would be obtainable for numerous important happenings.
That is due to the reason that the financial plan given to the tourism organization from Stormont’s division for the economy is considerably lower than in current years.
The arrangement was targeted toward backing events with at least 1,000 visitors and minimum profits and spending of £50,000 for supporting development in the number of visitors and their spending.
