Agra Tourist Welfare Chamber secretary Vishal Sharma said that the arrival of foreign tourists brings a lot of advantages for the local tourism industry.

“Foreign tourists spend much more on travel, hospitality, shopping, and food, which in turn, improves the city’s economy,” said Sharma.

Since there is no direct international flight to Agra at present, all tourists have to come via Delhi by road.
