With several initiatives, the Dubai Government has taken importantsteps to welcome ecological tourism. In effect, a Dubai Sustainable Tourism Department was formed to add to the wide-ranging clean energy and viable expansion targets that Dubai is aiming to attain.
Booking.com’s Sustainable Travel Report polled over 29,000 travelers across 30 countries. 73 per cent of the US travelers consider that sustainable travel is important. 46 per cent opine that the pandemic has made them think about traveling sustainably.
Since lodgingconstitutes one of the crucialessentials of tourism, travelers are still finding it perplexing to come up withappropriate sustainable-minded stopovers for their journeys. The Global Sustainable Tourism Council says that asustainable journey suggestsreducing the negative influences and making the most of the positive ones.For instance, decreasing littering, harming nature, over-tourism, and increasing the conservation of the natural scenery, including the local culture.
