For Americans, India has factually been one of the most preferred travel destinations and in the current context, the increasing demand for transpacific flights is exceptionally surpassing the volumes of the pre-pandemic times.
In the initial nine months of this year, a 22% increase in inbound tourism was reported by Trevolution Group compared to the same time 2022. This increase brings into line with the ongoing initiatives of the country to fortify its tourism.
From January to September 2023, there has a major 179% growth in outbound tourism from India as well, which shows the rapid recovery and growth of this market. International businesses are growing, and India is fast turning into an important player in the global economy of today.
So far, the last summer has been the busiest travel period, and the forthcoming holiday season is expected to indicate the same outline with an even higher demand marking this year as a record year with major boom all over the Indian market. Travel from India has witnessed a considerable growth in sales in all the main cabin classes in the initial nine months of 2023.
That caused a 193% growth in terms of flights booked from India in Economy class and a 139% growth in Business class compared to the data of 2022.
