Trip.com Group and Kazakh Tourism inks new cooperation contract

Trip.com Group and the National Company Kazakh Tourism inked a new cooperation contract during the World Travel Market exhibition in London.


After various fruitful events held in Kazakhstan, the National Company “Kazakh Tourism” was established in 2017 for upholding Kazakhstan as a global travel destination.


As part of this contract, Trip.com Group will leverage its foremost global platforms: Ctrip, Trip.com Skyscanner, Travix and MakeMyTrip to collaboratively develop and uphold tourism in Kazakhstan.


Talgat Amanbayev, Kazakh Tourism Chairman said that Kazakhstan is proactively encouraging international tourism, mainly by reopening its borders for tourists. 78 countries have been freed from visa requirements before entering. Kazakhstan now permits Chinese and Indian residents to come in without a visa for up to 14 days.


James Liang, the Chairman and Co-Founder of Trip.com Group said that they are happy to sign a new planned contract with Kazakh Tourism. Jointly, through a succession of tactical campaigns, they will drive travel recovery in the region.


Amanbayev said that they are excited to recommence work with one of most noticeable initiatives of the tourism industry. Their team will definitely gather a substantial amount of information. The outcomes of all activities, including those concerning digitalization, will be published afterwards.


Trip.com Group will support destination partnerships via a series of publicity activities, making use of important resources and its fast-growing international network of possessions for improving Kazakh’s tourism industry and motivating international travelers to visit.
