Qatar Tourism and Trip.com Group, world’s one of the well-known travel service providers, recently, sign Memorandum of Understanding, with a mission to encourage Qatar as the leading choice for family-friendly tourism destination of the Middle East.
This affiliation will witness campaigns aimed on Chinese and Indian markets, coupled with global campaigns.
The recent agreement forms part of the long-term goal of Qatar to receive six million tourists every year by 2030.
In this one-year agreement, Qatar will be extensively promoted via a chain of advertising campaigns, all over the world-leading brands of Trip.com Group and associated assets, comprising Ctrip.com (China), MakeMyTrip.com (India), Trip.com (global), and Skyscanner.com (global).
While expressing views on the recent joint venture, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, the Chairman of Qatar Tourism and Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, said that they believe that this new affiliation with Trip.com Group will encourage Qatar as the ultimate destination choice of the Middle East even more for families, via their expansive network of internationally known travel brands. From the exciting theme parks of Qatar to adventures in the elevated desert dunescapes, and cultural districts with the unforgettable shopping and dining opportunities, a trip to Qatar provides something for the entire family.
While commenting on the recent affiliation, James Liang, the Chairman and Co-Founder of Trip.com Group, said that he’s excited to fortify cooperation through this new strategic partnership.
