TTM 2022 is hoped to pump in B1.29 bn

At the official opening of Thailand Travel Mart Plus 2022, Mr. Yuthasak disclosed about the forecast. It was arranged at the Angsana Laguna Phuket. This important travel show was opened on 8th June and continued till 10th. To improve the potential of supply chain and developing new opportunities related to businesses for operators during this tough time, said Mr. Yuthasak.


He said that TAT will develop many travel routes and at the same time represent the eagerness of Thailand to arrange events of this stature and reflect the potential of the country as a world destination with a target of building strong and sustainable tourism.


This year, the event hopes that Thai tourism will churn out total revenue of B 1.5trn. It will grow from 7-10 million international tourists along with domestic visitors.


In first half of 2022, the country saw 1.23 mn tourists from abroad. The TAT, from May to September, has aimed to attract 500,000 visitors every month. The number of tourists between October and December 2022, is hoped to rise to 1 mn every month.


1n 2023, the TAT predicts that revenue of tourism will grow by B2.4 trn, before it reaches B3trn by 2024. This would be 80 percent of the total revenue of tourism for 2019.


Yesterday sports minister said that the event was the first prime platform to bring in the campaign.
