TUI Marketing Strategy 2024: A Case Study

TUI is expanding in the Czech Republic with new stores, increased flights, and exciting holiday options, aiming to double its customer base by summer 2025.

TUI, the world’s leading tourism group, is accelerating its growth in the Czech Republic as part of a broader European expansion. With the goal of doubling the number of Czech holidaymakers next summer, TUI plans to open a total of ten stores across the country by 2025. This follows the successful launch of four TUI-owned shops this summer, located in Prague, Brno, and Ostrava.

Marcin Dymnicki, Managing Director of TUI Czech Republic, highlighted the company’s achievements in 2023, including serving 50,000 customers to top destinations such as Antalya, Mallorca, and Crete, and the successful introduction of the TUI mobile app.

For Czech travelers, TUI offers a variety of sunny destinations, with Antalya, Mallorca, and Crete topping the list. Direct flights from Prague remain the most popular travel option, but TUI’s partner airlines also provide year-round flights to top European beach destinations from Ostrava and Brno. Other popular destinations this winter include the Turkish Riviera, Hurghada, Marsa Alam, and the Canary Islands, all accessible via direct flights from the Czech Republic.

TUI’s holiday packages aren’t limited to just flights; the company also offers dynamic package holidays for customers in Germany and Austria, making it easy for those near the borders to book trips to Croatia, Italy, Poland, and Austria for ski holidays. Long-haul options to the Caribbean, Indian Ocean, and other exotic locations are available as well.

The company’s most popular hotels, such as those under the RIU, TUI Magic Life, and TUI Blue brands, are available in the Mediterranean, while long-haul options include destinations like the Dominican Republic, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, and Zanzibar.

TUI’s main sales channels include the TUI.cz website and mobile app, as well as more than 300 partner travel agencies and online platforms. With the addition of the new shops, TUI aims to enhance its direct customer engagement. “Our goal for summer 2025 is to send 100,000 customers on holiday with TUI, supported by a team of 60 employees across our ten locations,” Dymnicki concluded.

Bookings for the upcoming summer season are already live, and the demand is high, reflecting the growing popularity of TUI’s offerings in the Czech market.
