Tui purchased Musement, Italian online activities platform

TUI GroupTui Group has purchased Italian online firm Musement, which specialises in selling activities, tours and excursions.

 

 

Musement specialized in selling activities, tours and excursions  has been acquired by the TUI Group. Five years ago the Milan –based start-up was set up and presently provides around 3,500 products across 1,100 cities around the world.

 

 

According to the chief executive of TUI Group, Fritz Joussen the latest acquisition will provide a better Tui Destination Experiences at a time when the tour operator plans to extend its services and provide more customized products.

 

 

 

He said that they were aiming to provide a highly personalized experience to 20 million customers, which will be processed through digitalization. The key success factors for any business for any business depends on personalistion and digitalization.

 

 

 

Musement’s online platform facilitates small activity and excursion operators to get access to digital market place and it has at present 130 employees along with one million users.
