Turkey – popular for medical tourism

Turkey is a very popular destination for all those willing togo throughhair transplant procedure;and we all know that the hair transplant market is developing on a global scale. The global hair transplant market was valued at 5,272.1 million U.S. dollars in 2017, and it is quite likely that the valuation will reach 28,627.6 million U.S. dollars by 2025.

Entrepreneur Hasan Süzer is among the foremostin the hair transplant industry in Turkey with his namesake medical clinic, SuzerMed. Süzer studied hotel management in university, but interned at a healthcare company after his graduation. The two go hand-in-hand, with hospitality and healthcare both largely client-focused, aiming to give customers the best-possible care.

After joining the healthcare company,Süzerwas quickly able to work his way up the ranks. Due to his easinessin moving forward in the corporate world, Süzer realized that he wanted to do more, thus he forayed in the lucrative industry of medical tourism combining his knowledge of hospitality and healthcare.

Süzeropined, “I first began with an agency — I was bringing clients to Turkey for different procedures with a focus on plastic surgery. Then I decided to open the clinic, which is much more fulfilling since rather than simply directing the clients we are treating them.”

Süzer’s chief goal is to make sure that each client gets a patient-friendly, luxurious and comfortable experience.

Suzermed provides medical services including hair transplants and plastic surgery, working together with two top-tier hospitals, Acıbadem Atakent Hospital and Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital. Each client receives transportation to-and-from the airport, accompanied by anextravagant stay at The Ritz Carlton, Istanbul.

Regarding future plans, Süzer said that he hopes to spread wings within Turkey and possibly in other countries with branches in various medical fields.
