Starting March 28th, 2024, Turkish Airlines will resume its flights to Tripoli, Libya’s capital, enhancing its status as the airline with the most connections to Africa by serving 62 destinations across the continent.
This flag carrier is set to run flights to Tripoli on a tri-weekly basis, specifically on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. With its extensive network of flights to 130 countries and 346 destinations globally, Turkish Airlines continues to enhance its offering of seamless connectivity and exceptional service quality worldwide.

During the inauguration ceremony at Mitiga International Airport, Turkish Airlines CEO Bilal Ekşi stated; “As Turkish Airlines, we feel the excitement of connecting continents, this time in Tripoli, the capital of Libya. We are delighted to start flights again to Libya, with which we have historical ties. We will continue to bring cultures together in Africa, as in many continents.”

For a limited time, from March 28 to May 31, 2024, travelers can enjoy special fares of 379 USD from Istanbul to Tripoli and 299 USD from Tripoli to Istanbul. These promotional rates are available for tickets booked between March 23 and May 15, 2024.
