In a declaration, the national flag carrier stated that direct flights from Stuttgart and Berlin will kick-start on March 31 and April 3, respectively.
The flights, targeting to bring Antalya to the top spot of European tourism, will function two times a week during summer season, the statement said.
In 2018, Turkish Airlines carried 75.2 million passengers, up 10 percent annually. This year, the company aims on total number of passengers carried to reach 47 million on foreign routes. In 2019, the flag carrier hopes 8 percent increase in Europe on a yearly basis.
Founded in 1933, Turkish Airlines flies to 306 destinations in 124 countries with its fleet of over 330 aircraft including passenger and cargo planes by the end of last year.
