Two aeroplanes have collided into each other on the ground at Heathrow Airport.
Passengers sitting on planes on the tarmac reported seeing around ten police cars, along with fire engines, following the incident shortly before 8pm last night (Wednesday, September 28).
One news agency reported that one passenger who claims to have been on a flight which was being blocked, said they were taxiing on the runway when they suddenly got stopped by all these emergency services.
They said passengers were then told they were returning to the gate “due to a technical issue”.
The incident happened at 7.53pm yesterday and Heathrow has confirmed the crash took place but that it was not a “full on” collision.
According to reports on social media, the crash involved Korean Air flight KE908 and Icelandair flight 767. There are no reports of any injuries.
