UAE established itself as among top global wellness tourism destinations

Recently, Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Ajman’s Department of Tourism Development, said that the UAE has set up its position as world’s one of the best health and wellness tourism destinations.

He made the rising international confidence in the health sector and services of UAE as responsible behind it, which has accomplished in drawing big names in tourism that is known for their prestigious position internationally.

At the time of his visit to Zoya Health & Wellbeing Resort, based in Al Zorah area in Ajman, this came in to check out the first five-star health resort in Middle East and Africa that provides a wide array of expert treatment programs all planned to showcase to its visitors a healthy lifestyle and well-being.

At the resort, Sheikh Abdul had started his tour which had 61 rooms with a magnificent view of the golf courses and mangrove forests. He was informed about the health facilities that are present at the resort, like an assortment of treatments on the basis of fitness, prevention & rehabilitation, and recreation & relaxation.

Sheikh Abdul explained that health and wellness tourism projects play an important role in attaining tourism objectives set for the emirate, and meeting the requirements of health for tourists coming from other countries of the world to the Emirate of Ajman.

He stated that Ajman, fifth largest city of in UAE, through these illustrious projects, is looking to become an attractive place for health tourism.
